Formgiving in Architecture is a key concept that goes beyond traditional design, involving the shaping and creation of objects, environments, and systems with a deep consideration of their functional, aesthetic, and emotional aspects. It is an approach that integrates art, science, and technology to craft forms that not only fulfill practical needs but also evoke a meaningful experience for users. Formgiving emphasizes the relationship between form and function, ensuring that the design is both purposeful and pleasing to the senses.
Vi Boi Studio is a multidisciplinary architecture and design practice founded by Vi Boi Huynh (David), dedicated to exploring the intersections of architecture, interiors, product design, creative concepts, custom LEGO models (MOCs), and storytelling. Based in San Francisco, the studio creates innovative design solutions that connect people, culture, technology, and the environment through thoughtful and imaginative experiences.
